From Industrial Design to Industrial Sales
Randy's journey into manufacturing began at the Cleveland Institute of Art, where he studied Industrial Design with a focus on Product Design. His education provided an early understanding of how products are developed, manufactured, and brought to market.
"My journey into the manufacturing and industrial markets started while attending Cleveland Institute of Art," Randy explains. "This field allowed me to gain knowledge of manufacturing processes and product development across multiple industries."
That foundation led him into technical sales support and account management roles with both small businesses and Fortune 500 organizations. Along the way, he developed a deep appreciation for the relationship between engineering, manufacturing, and customer success.
His diverse experience across industries has given him valuable insight into how organizations evaluate suppliers, solve technical challenges, and build long-term partnerships.

Outside of Helix, Randy enjoys spending time with his family and embracing the outdoors.
"I have a passion for outdoor recreation and enjoy UTV riding with family and friends at locations across the United States," he says.
He is also an avid supporter of Ohio sports teams and enjoys challenging himself through adventurous activities. Most importantly, Randy and his wife enjoy supporting their children in their activities and helping them grow and succeed.
