Ultra-High-Capacity Roller Screw (URS)

High Load Capacity. Long Service Life. Precision Motion.
The URS is a larger-format variant of the SRS platform, built with an extended nut length and a larger overall size range for applications that demand heavy loads and long service life. By optimizing the roller-to-thread contact and the number of engaged threads, the URS delivers meaningfully higher load ratings than the standard SRS range, making it well suited to severe duty cycles and high-force applications.
Available across a wide diameter range with multiple lead and nut configurations, including flanged options, the URS offers the best power density of the roller screw line. Its larger, more robust design makes it the right choice when a system needs to manage heavy loads, high shock, or continuous demanding operation.
Description of the URS, the Ultra-High-Capacity Roller Screw
- URS-C ~ Cylindrical Nut
- URS-F ~ Flanged, Centered Nut
- URS-P ~ Flanged, Non-Centered Nut
URS-C The cylindrical nut configuration provides a compact mounting profile suited to housings with limited radial clearance.
URS-F The flanged, centered nut configuration provides a flush, concentric mounting flange for straightforward alignment in heavy-duty assemblies.
URS-P The flanged, non-centered nut configuration provides flexible bolt patterns for applications with specific interface or clearance requirements.

Performance
The URS is engineered specifically for demanding, heavy-load applications where the standard SRS range reaches its limits. By extending the nut length and increasing the number of load-bearing contacts, the URS achieves a substantial load capacity gain over the SRS while keeping the same fundamental non-recirculating roller screw architecture, preserving stable driving torque and precise motion control at larger scale.
Applications
The URS Ultra-High-Capacity Roller Screw is specified for applications requiring maximum load capacity and long service life under severe duty cycles, including:
✦ Heavy industrial presses and forming equipment
✦ Large-scale test and simulation equipment
✦ Heavy-duty material handling and lifting systems
✦ Aerospace and defense actuation
✦ Oil and gas equipment
✦ Large-format manufacturing and machine tools
