Inverted Roller Screw with HRB (HRA-I)

High Load Capacity. Long Service Life. Precision Motion.
The HRA-I combines an inverted roller screw with a bearing integrated directly into the nut. Because the bearing inner ring is machined onto the nut itself, the design saves weight, optimizes size, and eliminates the need for a separate locknut and flange. By maximizing capacity and reliability in a single mechanical package, the HRA-I offers exceptional power density and is purpose-built for next-generation electric linear actuators.
The most compact integrated linear solution for an electromechanical actuator.
Description of the HRA-I, the Inverted Roller Screw with Integrated Bearing
Because the HRA-I is built on the inverted roller screw architecture, the nut is the rotating member and the screw shaft is the translating member. Machining the bearing's inner ring directly onto that rotating nut removes the separate locknut and flange hardware an inverted design would otherwise require, tightening the interface between the bearing and the nut and shrinking the overall package. The result is a single, purpose-built rotating assembly, ready to drop into a compact electric actuator housing.

Performance
By integrating the bearing inner ring onto the rotating nut, the HRA-I carries both axial and radial loads through a single rotating assembly rather than distributing them across separate inverted roller screw and bearing components. This consolidation increases power density, removes the locknut and flange interfaces that add length and potential play, and results in the most compact package available in the roller screw with integrated bearing line.
